Development and common problems of hose sealing technology

Analysis of internal heating and sealing
Although the internal heating sealing technology is already a relatively mature technology, many users of hose sealing machines still encounter various problems in use. The emergence of these problems, in addition to the low quality of the equipment itself, is mainly due to the correct operation and commissioning of the equipment.

We now do some analysis on some of the more common problems (not including the problems caused by the low quality of the equipment itself).

First, the equipment should be tested as follows before analyzing the specific problems that arise:
● Whether the actual running speed of the detecting device is the same as the initial debugging speed of the specification;
● Check if the LEISTER heater is in the open position;
● Whether the compressed air supply pressure of the equipment reaches the pressure requirement during normal operation of the equipment;
● Check if the cooling water flows smoothly and the temperature of the cooling water is within the range required by the equipment;
● Check whether the filling of the equipment has a dripping paste, especially to ensure that the paste does not stick to the upper part of the inner wall of the tube;
● Do not touch the inner surface of the hose with anything to avoid contamination of the inner wall of the hose;
● Check if the intake air of the LEISTER heater is normal. ● Check if the heater internal temperature detector is in the correct position. ● Check if the heating head air extractor works normally.

After performing the above initial tests, let's analyze some common specific problems:

Phenomenon 1:

When the phenomenon 1 on the left appears, it is usually caused by excessive temperature. At this time, it should be checked whether the actual temperature is the temperature required for the hose of the specification to work normally.

The actual temperature on the temperature display should be relatively stable to the set temperature (normal deviation range is between 1 ° C and 3 ° C).

Phenomenon 2:

There is an ear on one side as shown in the figure below: first check if the heating head is correctly placed in the heating head nest; then check the verticality of the heating head and the hose below.

Another possible cause of the phenomenon of having an ear on one side is the deviation of the parallelism of the two clip plates.
The deviation of the parallelism of the tailgate can be detected by a spacer between 0.2 and 0.3 mm (detection method as shown in the left figure)

Phenomenon 3:

The seal starts to crack from the middle of the hose. This phenomenon is caused by insufficient size of the heating head. Please replace the larger heating head. The size of the heating head is judged by inserting the heating head into the inside of the hose, then pulling it out, and feeling a slight suction when pulled out.

Phenomenon 4:

“Eye bags” appear under the explosion-proof line of the seal: This occurs because the height of the air outlet holes of the heating head is incorrect and can be adjusted as follows.

Phenomenon 5:

Hose cut in the middle of the tail: This problem is usually caused by the wrong size of the cup and the hose is too tight in the cup.

Judging criteria for the size of the cup: The hose should be fully caught in the cup, but when the tail is clamped, the cup should not affect the natural change in the shape of the hose.
