"Bio Farming" Improves Rice Quality

In 2009, Gold Village established a Golden Rice Organic Rice Cooperative, which currently has 1,000 acres of organic rice. Last year, the cooperative first explored 600 mu of pollution-free high-quality soft rice for “biological farming†and combined with the weather of the next day and the day, and strictly controlled the soil quality of Putian from the factors such as seed and water temperature. For water irrigation, organic fertilizers are all used, and pests and insecticides are treated with Chinese herbs and fungicides. The cooperatives completely replaced the original organophosphorus pesticides with biological pesticides, and fed capsicum, bitter juice, and allicin to the rice seedlings. In order to further improve the ecological control effect of pests and diseases, the cooperative also ordered more than 40 dragonfly moth lights in the field, which not only provided effective pest control and pest control, but also prevented pests from eating leaves. At the same time, without Jinggangmycin, urea and other fertilizers, adhere to the application of organic fertilizers, biological fertilizers, bacteria and fertilizers. The first to install frequency-type solar insecticidal lamp on the base of organic rice, to lure the insects to the area near the light source of the lamp, and configure high-pressure killing nets outside the light source to achieve the purpose of killing pests.
Last year, the Agricultural Products Safety Supervision Quality Inspection and Testing Center of the Ministry of Agriculture conducted a comprehensive inspection of the high-quality soft rice of the Golden Land Cooperative, and 20 testing items such as inorganic arsenic, mercury, lead, and cadmium all met national standards.
Colorful rice sells "high price"
In July 2012, the Golden Rice Organic Rice Cooperative was awarded by the Ministry of Agriculture as a model farmer of the National Farmers' Cooperatives. The color rice produced by the cooperative sold 80 yuan per kilogram.
The "Gold" brand high-quality soft rice produced by the cooperatives yielded a profit of 0.88 million yuan per mu. At the 18th International Agricultural Products Exhibition, it sold 45 yuan per kilogram and was in short supply. Last year, the village collaborated with the Jiangsu Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Shanghai Jiaotong University's China Color Rice Association and Anhui University to develop and establish an organic soft rice and color rice breeding base. After successful planting of color rice, the yield per mu reached 12,000 yuan. . Colored rice seeds include natural colors such as red, purple, black, green, and white. Their selenium, iron and other trace elements are 8 to 15 times that of ordinary rice, and are particularly suitable for children, women, and the elderly. Last year, the cooperative harvested 3,000 kilos of colored rice, all of which were packed in cans and sold for 80 yuan per kilogram. At present, the “Golden Village†brand rice has become a fragrant oyster, and sales have soared. The price of gold in the village was only one of these. Last year, it increased the income of cooperative members by 500 yuan per mu. At the end of last year, the members of the cooperative also added another 7% dividend.
In addition, Gold Village spends more than 200,000 yuan each year as R&D expenses for product packaging and deep processing. This year, the village cooperative cooperated with the School of Life Sciences of Anhui University and entrusted Jiangxi Weilha Foods Co., Ltd. to produce a “Golden Village†ready-to-eat plain organic soft rice flour using a high temperature of 140°C for 3 seconds to fill up the domestic organic soft rice. "Golden Village" organic soft rice and colored rice, also won the national organic food certification, and was named Jiangsu Province brand-name products and cross-strait agricultural products to promote the brand. Golden Village was also awarded the "Jiangsu Ecological Quality Rice Cultivation Base."
Farmers do not plant land and enjoy ecological rice
