Straw gasification technology

Straw gasification technology is a kind of thermochemical treatment technology. It is a process in which crop straws are crushed and used as raw materials to produce gas by incomplete combustion in gasification equipment. Carbon, hydrogen, oxygen and other elements in straw become carbon monoxide. , hydrogen, methane and other flammable gases. Straw gas, like natural gas, is dust-free, smoke-free and pollution-free after combustion. It is low in cost, energy-saving and environmentally-friendly, and is praised as a green environmental protection energy source.

Straw gasification technology includes two kinds of centralized gas supply systems and household type gasification systems.

1. Straw gasification centralized gas supply straws are properly crushed and then oxygen-depleted in the gasification unit to produce combustible gases such as carbon monoxide. After the gas is cooled, purified and concentrated, it is sent to the gas storage tank and then passed through the gas supply. The system directly uses pipes for users' use. It is similar to the pipeline natural gas in the city. Users can use the valves to ignite the gas cookers and they can boil water and cook.

(1) Straw gasification centralized gas supply system The straw gasification centralized gas supply system generally consists of straw gasification unit, gas transmission and distribution system and indoor gas system.

The straw gasification unit is a device that converts biomass raw materials into gaseous fuels and consists of a feeder, a gasifier, a gas purifier, and a gas conveyor. The chopped or cut straws are sent to a gasifier and subjected to pyrolysis, oxidation and reduction reactions to convert them into combustible gases. The gas is removed in the purifier and sent to the distribution system by the gas conveyor.

Gas Transmission and Distribution System The gas transmission and distribution system consists of gas storage tanks, ancillary equipment, and underground gas pipeline networks. The gas storage tank floats and falls through the bell jar to store or release gas, adapting to changes in the user's gas consumption. The pressure of the gas storage tank is generally 3000-4000 Pa (300-400 mmH2O), which can meet the transmission requirements of less than 1km. The gas pipeline network consists of trunk pipelines, branch pipelines, user-introduced pipelines, and indoor pipelines.

User Gas System The indoor gas system includes gas meters, filters, valves and special gas cookers.

(2) Rural small-scale simple straw gasifier The working principle of the gasifier is the same as the gasification device of the straw gasification centralized gas supply system described above, and the straw is combusted to produce a combustible gas under anoxic conditions and utilized. The small straw gasifier has the overall function of producing gas, purifying gas, and automatically separating gas. When the fuel is injected into the furnace, a large amount of flammable gas such as carbon monoxide and methane is generated. These gas auto-input separation systems receive decontamination, de-smoke and dehydration steam purification procedures to produce high-quality gas. The gas is then piped to the gas stove for use.

The household simple straw gasifier is simple in structure, easy to use, and economical and environmentally friendly. Simple gasifiers, including 40 watt fans, fittings, nozzles and special cooktops. How to use the small and simple straw gasifier: In the kitchen or outside the kitchen, place a gasifier, install a purifier, and then turn on the fan and install a smoke exhaust pipe and stove. Before the formal use of the oven, the furnace should be opened, the ash cover of the lower furnace should be opened, a small amount of straw should be put on the bottom of the furnace, the stove switch should be turned off, the smoke switch should be opened, and a small amount of dry firewood or thatch etc. should be filled into the furnace from the filling port. And to ignite, in order to make the underfire fully burned, the fan can be turned on for combustion. In order to ensure the gasification effect, the bottom fire in the furnace must be sufficient. After the underfire is turned on, the fan is turned off. At this time, the pre-prepared fuel can be filled into the gasifier. Filler height requires fuel more than 20 cm above the nozzle. After the fuel is filled, cover the hatch cover. Open the fan, then you will see a large amount of smoke exhaust smoke exhaust, after 2-3 minutes, you can open the stove before the ignition switch, ignition should be closed after the exhaust gasifier switch. After the meal is finished, turn off the fan, turn off the stove front switch, and open the smoke switch and the cleaning port insert. The gasifier needs only one ignition and the bottom fire is left in the furnace after the fire is closed. When the next meal is finished, only the filling port needs to be opened to add a small amount of fuel.
