goodbye, Dallas

Yes, it's been since Sunday night that I said goodbye to Dallas, and I've been back home for a few days now. But yesterday was spent with my sweet Baby Blue—playing together, cooking together, and even napping together. It was a perfect day, and I'm glad I had this post ready to share.

Although I only took a handful of photos, besides this shoot, I found myself drawn to stairways. I’m not exactly sure why, but there’s something about them that feels symbolic, almost like they're waiting for someone to take the first step.

I think these stairways caught my eye because I know I'm standing at the start of a new chapter in my life. A chapter that fills me with excitement, but one that I can only move forward in one step at a time.
