Green Bean Stalk Disease Prevention and Control

Bean rust and powdery mildew are two common fungal diseases that affect bean crops, causing significant damage to both the leaves and other plant parts. First, the symptoms of bean rust typically begin on the leaves. In severe cases, the infection can also spread to the petioles and stems. During the early stages of the disease, small yellowish spots appear on the underside of the leaves. These spots gradually turn brown and develop into raised pustules. As the disease progresses, these pustules expand and produce summer spores. When the epidermis ruptures, a red-brown powdery substance is released, which is the characteristic sign of the disease. This spore stage is highly contagious and can lead to rapid spread under favorable conditions. Second, the symptoms of bean powdery mildew mainly affect the leaves, but can also occur on the vines and pods. Initially, brown spots appear on the upper surface of the leaves, which then enlarge and become purplish-brown in color. A thin layer of white powder, consisting of mycelium and spores, covers the affected areas. This disease is caused by fungi belonging to the subphylum Ascomycota, which thrive in humid and shaded environments. To manage these diseases effectively, it's important to implement integrated pest management strategies. At the early stage of infection, applying fungicides such as 70% chlorothalonil wettable powder at a dilution of 500 times, or 40% copper oxychloride wettable powder at 600 times, or 50% sulfur suspension diluted 300 times, can be very effective. For best results, apply the treatment every 5-7 days for 2-3 consecutive applications. It’s also recommended to ensure proper air circulation, avoid overhead watering, and remove infected plant debris to reduce the risk of reinfection. Regular monitoring and early intervention are key to preventing serious outbreaks.

Anti-Ulcerative

Ulcers is commonly known as gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer, the formation of ulcers is closely related with gastric acid or pepsin digestion. Ulcer disease is a chronic disease, its seizures were cyclical, episodes and remission of alternating appear, and the onset of abdominal pain has a certain rule. The main cause of ulcers include: 1. Helicobacter pylori infection 2. Bad diet 3. Mental factors 4. Drug stimulation. Many patients with gastric ulcer who have taken non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug history, these drugs will stimulate our gastric mucosa, causing damage, then it will cause ulcer disease over time. The current anti-ulcer drug is mainly focused on reducing gastric acid and enhance the protective effect of gastric mucosa. In recent years, the research and development of anti-ulcer drug progress is faster, effective drugs have been listed, sales are also rising.
