How to simply reproduce Ivy

Ivy is an evergreen vine of Araliaceae, which is tolerant to yin, slightly hardy, warm and humid, and impatience. In order to reproduce simply and quickly, individuals think that single bud cuttings can be used.
There is a dormant bud between the leaves and stems of ivy. The single bud cutting method is to germinate this bud in the plant and grow into a new plant. Use a knife to cut the part between the leaves and the stem of the ivy, about 2 cm long, retain the leaves, and then cut into the moist sand bed (the seedbed should be built in a greenhouse or a shed). Since it is a tender cutting, do not injure the cuttings when inserting them. You can use a wooden stick to drill holes in the seedbed first. The cutting depth is 1.5 cm. After the insertion, we must ensure that the seedbed is moist, and the relative humidity of the air is about 90%. Try to make it more visible (in September, we can see the light all day long). In about half a month, the cuttings can take root. At this time, some low-toxic germicides can be sprayed and then enter normal management. In general, the cuttings can reach a length of 20 to 30 cm after 2 months.
