Aliyah – She’s got this fearless spirit. At the start of the year, we started piano lessons together. Life got busy, though—there were a couple of trips where we missed some lessons and practice sessions. But she’s persistent! Last week, when her teacher asked if she wanted to perform in the upcoming recital, she lit up and said, “Absolutely!†It reminded me how much she loves music, even when things don’t go perfectly according to plan.
Brayden – He’s definitely got that “cool kid†vibe going on. Maybe it’s just me projecting, but he seems so laid-back about everything. Although, who knows? That iPad app he’s been playing with might actually be educational. I like to think of it as his version of schoolwork. 😊
Skylar – Oh, Skylar! He’s absolutely smitten with the piano. The moment he hears the first note, he’s off like a shot. He crawls super-fast over to the bench and uses his tiny fingers to press whatever keys he can reach. Watching him while Aliyah taught Brayden “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?†made my heart melt. He’s so curious and full of energy!
Happy Monday, everyone! Let’s take a moment today to slow down and savor those little everyday moments. They’re often the ones that make life special, even if we don’t always notice them right away. Let’s cherish them together!
