After graduating from Ph.D. in 1995, Li Xiaoyong stayed at the Department of Neurosurgery at Tiantan Hospital in Beijing. After several years of training, he has grown into an excellent neurosurgery expert and has also made breakthroughs in the treatment of hydrocephalus with the team. He withstood the pressure, re-explored, improved treatment techniques and patient hospitalization management methods, and finally made the success rate of surgical treatment significantly improved.

After the establishment of the cerebrospinal fluid disease department, Li Xiaoyong led the team to treat more than 200 patients with critical infectious hydrocephalus every year. Many of them still seek treatment from patients who have repeatedly failed, are disabled or are on the verge of death. The cure rate of surgery and treatment is over 90%. .
