Austria developed a magnetic resonance cardiac dynamometer

Austria has successfully developed a dynamometer that can be used with magnetic resonance imaging equipment for early diagnosis of heart disease.

The equipment was developed jointly by the Medical University of Innsbruck, Austria, and a local medical equipment company. The dynamometer is installed in a traditional magnetic resonance device to detect the patient's blood circulation, heart metabolism and other relevant biochemical data in a short period of time.

Project leader Thomas Hugel said that the newly-invented magnetic resonance cardiac dynamometer can monitor the patient's body data within 15 minutes and greatly improve the patient's comfort level of magnetic resonance examination. The patient not only does not have to lie in the magnetic resonance machine for a long time, but also can freely move the body during the examination.

Currently, magnetic resonance cardiac dynamometers are ready to enter the clinical trial phase, and 200 people will participate in the trial.
