How to fertilize garlic?

Most of the plants cultivated today are local varieties, and garlic is no exception. Garlic has relatively shallow root systems, making it more susceptible to drought and in need of consistent moisture. This characteristic requires careful management during growth to ensure optimal development. Garlic plays a significant role in Shandong's agriculture. It not only meets domestic demand but also serves as a major export product, reaching countries in Southeast Asia, Europe, and North America. Shandong is the leading region for garlic exports in China, highlighting its economic importance. As a cold-tolerant crop, garlic is typically planted in the autumn in Shandong. However, there are several challenges in its cultivation. One key issue is the timing of sowing. Some farmers tend to plant too early due to warmer temperatures and overuse of fertilizers, which can lead to premature sprouting and problems like "breaded garlic" — where the cloves become soft and unmarketable. Therefore, it's important to avoid both planting too early and too late. Fertilization is another critical factor. Many farmers apply excessive base fertilizer, often neglecting the need for seedling and winter fertilizers. To address this, a new type of fertilizer called slow-controlled release fertilizer has been introduced. This fertilizer is coated with a film that controls the release of nutrients over time, improving efficiency. Compared to traditional fertilizers, it reduces usage by about 31%, while still delivering excellent results. We recommend balancing nitrogen and potassium levels, with a moderate increase in phosphorus. Overuse of nitrogen can also lead to issues like breaded garlic, so using potassium sulfate is preferred. Additionally, proper planting density is essential. Farmers are encouraged to plant around 30,000 to 40,000 bulbs per mu (approximately 667 square meters) to maximize yield without overcrowding. Mulching is another important practice. It helps raise soil temperature, especially in fields where planting is delayed or fertilization is limited. Using mulch can improve growing conditions and promote healthier garlic development. Overall, these practices help ensure better quality, higher yields, and more sustainable garlic farming in Shandong.

Isoprene Gasket

Our medicinal synthetic polyisoprene gasket for injection does not contain any substances that can easily produce pyrogen. We now use a unique technique to add cytotoxicity to the routine test of butyl rubber stoppers such as pyrogen, hemolysis, acute systemic toxicity test and so on. Systemic injection test and intradermal stimulation test have been used abroad for many years. Our good puncture resistance ensures the minimum rate of chip drop during the puncture process and our good self-sealing performance can guarantee no leakage during using process in hospital. Also, good retention of puncture device ensures that there is no needle slider and needle drop in the process of hospital use.
